Job Description

• Operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to produce precision components as per specifications.
• Program VMC machines using CAD/CAM software to create and edit CNC programs.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure accurate machining operations.
• Set up and adjust VMC machines, including selecting and installing cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerances and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency and quality.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and output.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.
• Document and report on machine performance, production metrics, and any issues encountered during operations.
