Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products using 3D CAD software.

Create 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T and tolerance specifications.

Develop 3D models, sheet metal parts, weldments, and assemblies using SOLIDWORKS and Creo (Pro/ENGINEER).

Modify and optimize existing designs based on engineering change requests.

Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and manufacturing documentation.

Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams during product development.

Perform design validation, fitment checks, and interference analysis.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards and customer requirements.

Strong knowledge of 3D CAD Modeling.

Hands-on experience with SOLIDWORKS and Creo.

Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up.

Knowledge of sheet metal, weldments, machining, and assembly design.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and product development lifecycle.

Basic understanding of FEA is an advantage.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.
