Job Description

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair dies, molds, and tool components to high precision standards.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate construction of dies.
• Utilize various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment for die making.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on dies to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Conduct testing and trial runs of dies to verify functionality and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with design engineers and production teams to optimize die designs for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of die modifications, maintenance, and repair work.
• Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality control procedures.
• Continuously seek improvements in die-making processes and techniques to enhance productivity and quality.
• Train and mentor junior die makers and tool room staff as needed.
