Job Description

• Operate and monitor PLC systems to control the steel manufacturing process.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC hardware and software.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and system upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of PLC operations, maintenance activities, and production data.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new PLC systems and equipment.
• Provide training and support to other team members on PLC operation and maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with various PLC brands and models (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and process instrumentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow technical instructions.
