Job Description

1. Design and develop new drilling machines and components using SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD.
2. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize designs for manufacturability and functionality.
3. Conduct feasibility studies and create detailed design specifications.
4. Create and maintain technical documentation for all designs.
5. Assist in the prototyping and testing of new products to ensure they meet quality standards.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to the manufacturing team.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions.
8. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
9. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
10. Work closely with clients, including big names like NRB Industrial Bearings, Varroc Group, and Greaves Cotton, to meet their specific requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in using SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD 
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Previous experience in the drilling machine industry is a plus.
