Job Description

    Job Description

    • Design, develop, and implement PLC SCADA systems based on project requirements.
    • Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) using ladder logic, function block diagrams, or structured text.
    • Configure SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems to monitor and control industrial processes.
    • Integrate PLCs and SCADA systems with other hardware and software components such as HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), sensors, and actuators.
    • Develop and maintain HMI screens and operator interfaces for real-time monitoring and control.
    • Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all aspects of system design and implementation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to achieve project goals.
    • Provide training and support to operators and maintenance personnel on PLC SCADA systems.
    • Document system designs, specifications, and maintenance procedures.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience in PLC programming and SCADA system design and implementation, with at least [X] years of experience in industrial automation.
    • Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric) using ladder logic and other programming languages.
    • Hands-on experience with SCADA software (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC) for system configuration and visualization.
    • Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.
    • Familiarity with industrial control systems, instrumentation, and process control principles.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information effectively.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Certification in PLC programming or SCADA system design.
    • Experience with industrial networking and cybersecurity practices.
    • Knowledge of PLC hardware and electrical systems design.
    • Understanding of PID control loops and advanced control strategies.
    • Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) integration.
