Course Description

More technical knowledge or experience in a particular job function does not ensure employability or career progress. Organizations have identified as many as eight soft, managerial, and leadership skills – collectively called employability skills that are required for a professional to move up the corporate ladder. The lack of these skills can prevent students from getting employed and those employed from getting promoted. Surveys after surveys reveal that a vast majority of arts & science, and engineering graduates are not job-ready because they do not have employability skills. Since organizations expect students to be job-ready, students are required to learn employability skills even as they pursue their formal or higher education.

Course Objectives

‘Gainful employment’ is our watchword. We help our students find well-paid, meaningful, and challenging jobs. We track companies that are hiring, and display job offers on our placement portal. We group them under different categories based on their implicit and explicit skill needs.
